Obsessed with new show
Tuesday, July 28th, 2009I’ve been watching a lot of OLN, because I watch Dog The Bounty Hunter and I don’t get A&E. Don’t get me started on my rant. Anyways, I caught Mantracker yesterday.
I kept seeing commercials for this Canadian reality show.
I wished I had watched it sooner. Wow, very cool. Terry Grant is Mantracker, he worked with Alberta Search and Rescue. He’s this rough, cowboy and he tracks humans through the wilderness. He doesn’t meet his prey, he doesn’t know where the finish line is. The “prey” are given a simple map and compass, a flare starts the race. The “prey” are given a lead, and it’s up to Mantracker to physically catch them, his guide, bar the prey’s path to the goal, or the “prey” can get caught by time elapsing. Did I mention they only have 36 hours?
If you get a chance, catch this show. I’m absolutely impressed by the way this man can see things, like just a simple turn of a leaf to know where the “prey” is.
It’s fascinating. Absolutely fascinating. *sigh* Yet another show I have to watch.
