Spooky Thursday Thirteen

I can’t believe that Halloween is next week, and with the arrival of Halloween will be my last Spooky Thursday Thirteen. So this is the second last one.

Won’t be horribly inventive tonight, my internet was down and I’ve been working on my WIPs and get ready for NaNo *cough* and watching Season Two of Grey’s Anatomy *cough cough*.

So without further ado Thirteen of my favorite and not so favorite Vampires. Enjoy!!!

Lillian Munster. The lovely Yvonne De Carlo who I always enjoyed watching both as the charming Lillian and as Moses wife in the 10 Commandments.

Ahhh, Angel from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Indeed a very sexy Vampire

Ahahahahahahaha, one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve, Thirteen Vampires. Ahahahaha. One of the smartest and kid friendliest of the Counts.

The Black Dagger Brotherhood, Vampires that make my toes CURL! You feel me?

dracula2000.jpg

Speaking of Sexy Vampires, how can I not have an opportunity to post Gerard. Dracula 2000, convert me baby convert me.

Of course then you got a Dracula with a weird ass hair do … um if it’s part of the package I don’t want it. Gary Oldman, I think the creepiest old hairdoed vampire.

Another friendly vampire, Grampa Munster! :)

I have a ban on Tom Cruise, seriously, I think he’s a bit of weirdmo, so to represent Lestat and Louis from the Interview with the Vampire fame I give you this cool Manga rendition. Loved the movie and the book but Tom you did no justice to Lestat.

This is for Wylie, really Louis the Vampire played by Brad Pitt, also Interview with the Vampire by Anne Rice.

Ok, you thought the hair thing was weird, talk about your crispy vampires. George Hamilton as Dracula in the campy 80’s movie (well it could have been earlier but I watched in the 80’s as a kid) Love at First Bite. Really George … really?

Bela Lugosi, I guess he gave the blah to I vant to suck your blahd. Blah, BLAH!

nosferatu.jpg The first on screen vampire and freaking creepy, The Nosferatu!

Hi, Amy!!! So glad we met for lunch and the TRW meeting!! Hope to do it again next time I’m in town!

As for your vampire list - this secret twin thing is working overtime. Absolutely the same for me about Yvonne DeCarlo. LOVE Count Chocula, but ESPECIALLY love The Count!! (’One, two, three, doing the Batty Bat’) Gerry Dracula - shivery delight. Gary Oldman - oh, yes! When he’s in the younger version with long hair and trying to resist Wynona Rider - I watch that scene over and over. Brad Pitt’s Louis is perfect and melancholic. And did you ever see ‘Shadow of the Vampire’ about the making of that nosferatu film? Rent it!

  3. Yuriko Says:

Love the list! I think I’d add Nick Knight from “Forever Knight”… he was a vampire but he really wanted to do good.. so he was a cop for the graveyard shift. :)

I would also add Spike from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. He’s sexy.. and he’s hilarious! Especially when you put Angel and Spike together. They act like the odd couple!

  4. Bri Says:

Nice. :) I love Nosferatu - scares the bejesus out of me, but that’s what’s fantastic about it.

  5. Nicholas Says:

    Nosferatu is terrifying!

  6. Kate Davies Says:

Great list! I’m reading Lover Unbound right now — love me some Black Dagger Brotherhood vamps!

  7. Tilly Greene Says:

I’m with you - Tom Cruise wasn’t the best, but I have a graphic novel with Lestat and he’s fabulous! Nosferatu was on the other night, definitely creepy good.

  8. SciFiChick Says:

I loooove George Hamilton in Love at First Bite! I now watch the movie every Halloween season.

  9. Hootin' Anni Says:

OMG!!! I forgot about the Count on Sesame Street! I loved him.

    Great list.
    I love Halloween themes

    Happy T T-ing

  10. Joely Says:

Aw, man! You left my favorite vampire off: Frank Langella from the 70s Dracula movie. (Not doing TT this week–too much EDJ)

  11. Amy Ruttan Says:

I didn’t see that movie Joely. Everyone talks about him though, I really should see it.

  12. Red Says:

This is super fun, Amy!!! I love love vampires! Dracula 2000 ahhh!!

  13. Ann Aguirre Says:

What an entertaining list. Count Chocula and George Hamilton get my vote for best vampires.

  14. Tempest Knight Says:

OMG! Lilly Monster and Grandpa! Hehehe! Yeah, Gerald Butler and Brad Pitt as vampires can come and bite me any time. *winks*

  15. Lorelei James Says:

I feel you on the Black Dagger Brotherhood :)

  16. Susan Helene Gottfried Says:

OMG, I’m howling over Count Chocula!!! I think you’re the first person I’ve ever seen who included him on a list of vampires — you go, Amy!!!!

  17. Leah Braemel Says:

Do you know I’d never thought about Lilly Addams being a vampire, but she was, wasn’t she? I loved that series! And I never realized Gerard was a vampire - I’ve definitely got to start watching out for his movies.

  18. Harris Channing Says:

Great list and a lot of fun. Do I see a vamp hero in a future book???

    ~Harris.

  19. Shelley Munro Says:

The Munsters always made me laugh. I think the movie is on TV here this week. Ah, the Brotherhood. That’s such a great series.

  20. Christine d'Abo Says:

I loved Gary Oldman as Dracula! He looked awesome once he lost the old man look and had that sexy long black hair. Yummy!

And what can I saw about The Brotherhood that hasn’t been said…I want the next one!

  21. Wylie Kinson Says:

You had me at Count Chocula, but sealed the deal with Brad :)

  22. Thomma Lyn Says:

hehe, great list of vamps! :) And yes, Nosferatu was freakin’ CREEPY — the ‘22 version and the remake of (I believe) 1979.

  23. Lisa Andel Says:

Okay, I’m a little late here. Just stopped in to let you know I didn’t forget you, I just … forgot you. I remembered when I saw Sparky had tagged you for the latest meme.
